‘Humar Aspatal’ has improved healthcare services

  • 30 thousand OPD, more than 200 institutional deliveries in last 3 months
  • Many new services including Dentistry, Sonography, X-ray, 42 types of tests, and 150 types of medicines are being provided free of cost in the four ‘Hamar Aspatal’ (hospitals) in Raipur

Raipur (The States. news)Four ‘Hamar Aspatal’ operating in the Raipur are significantly improving the healthcare services in the capital city. These hospitals are equipped with various modern facilities. These hospitals have had 30,000 OPDs and 200 institutional deliveries in the last three months i.e. August, September and October. In collaboration with the National Health Mission, the Urban Community Health Center at Gudhiyari and the Urban Primary Health Centers at Rajatalab, Bhathagaon and Bhanpuri have been upgraded as ‘Hamar Aspatal’ last year. Health Minister Mr. T.S. Singhdeo had inaugurated ‘Hamar Aspatal’ (Hospital Services) in March-2020 at Gudhiyari and in November-2020 at Rajatalab, Bhathagaon and Bhanpuri.

These hospitals have OPD services available from 8am to 8pm and a modern lab with 42 kinds of test facilities. Beneficiaries can get 150 kinds of medicines in these hospitals for free of cost.

In the last seven months, a total of 1611 people have availed the eye-checkup facility in the four ‘Humar Aspatal’ (hospitals) of the city. In the same duration(i.e. from April to October 2021) as many as 1188 people have availed dental treatment and 320 patients have availed the X-ray facility at Gudhiyari ‘Hamar Aspatal’. The facility of Sonography has also been started in the hospitals of Rajatalab and Gudhiyari from August month this year. Around 151 patients in Rajatalab and as many as 163 patients in Gudhiyari have been provided the facility of Sonography between August and October. Other Hamar Aspatal (hospitals) are also being equipped with the facilities of Dentistry, sonography and X-ray.

A total of 335 children have been vaccinated Hepatitis-B vaccine, 282 children have been given Vitamin-K supplements and 405 children have been given BCG vaccine and Oral Polio Vaccine in the last seven months under the routine immunization programme. In the last three months, 8709 people have availed treatment in the OPD of Gudhiyari ‘Hamar Hospital’, 8687 have been treated at the OPD of Rajatalab ‘Hamar Hospital’, 7143 people have availed the facility of OPD in Bhanpuri ‘Hamar Hospital’ and 5441 people have received treatment at the OPD of Bhathagaon ‘Hamar Hospital’. In the same duration, 77 women in Gudhiyari ‘Hamar Hospital’, 53 in Rajatalab ‘Hamar Hospital’, 38 in Bhanpuri ‘Hamar Hospital’ and 35 in Bhathagaon ‘Hamar Hospital’ have availed the institutional delivery services.
