New Delhi, ( thestates.news ) Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu while inaugurating the dance drama based on Shri Ram Katha organised by Shri Ram Kala Kendra of Delhi on Sunday said that Ram belongs to every region, every class, every community. Each region has its own unique Ramayana tradition. Ramakatha has been presented in almost every language and dialect of India. He said that Ram Katha defines our duties and responsibilities towards the world, society and our family besideses tablishing an ideal relationship of the person with nature and surroundings. In today’s fast-changing technology era, the ideals established by Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram are far more relevant, Naidu said adding that Ram was the prince of Ayodhya but during the period of his exile he came in contact with remote areas and communities of the subcontinent. This experience was an essential part of the process of a prince becoming a king. That is why every region, community considers Ram as their own, adopting Ram Katha in their folk tradition, he added.
