MINISTRY FORMATION: Yediyurappa’s house turns into power centre

Bengaluru, (the states. news) While BS Yediyurappa is relaxing in his official residence Cauvery after his resignation, the party’s central leadership is brooding over the new ministry formation in the state.

The process of ministry formation has begun with new chief minister Basavaraj Bommai saying that he would discuss it on his second visit to Delhi when he would meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and national party president JP Nadda, who form the power centre of the party.

However in Bengaluru, Yediyurappa’s residence has turned into a power centre with the aspiring legislators and their supporters making a beeline. They are hoping to fulfil their aspirations of getting ministerial berths in the new ministry because of the perception that Yediyurappa is the reason for Bommai becoming the chief minister.

Among the aspirants who visited Yediyurappa’s house are Aynur Manjunath, Kumar Bangarappa, Duryodhan Aihole, Subash Guttedar and others.

However, Yediyurappa has clearly directed them to put forth their ministerial demands to Bommai. “Basavaraj Bommai has gone to Delhi. After he returns, all decisions will be made by him. I will not interfere in anything. I have told party workers to meet Bommai for any demands including ministerial berths to him. Basavaraj Bommai has full freedom to make ministers of his choice,” he said. (uni) For Hindi News : media saheb.com
