Bijapur, (thestates.news) |01 Naxalites have been killed by jawans in a police-Naxal encounter under Pamhed area of Bijapur district. The bodies of the slain Naxalites have been recovered by the jawans. 02 jawans of CRPF Cobra Battalion have been martyred. 02 jawans are injured, who have been sent to Raipur.
CRPF Cobra Battalion personnel went out for search at 10:30 am in Dhur Naxal-affected Pamhed area of Bijapur district. While returning from search, ambushed Naxalites started firing on the soldiers, in response to the police, the soldiers have killed a Naxalite.
In the encounter, 02 soldiers of CRPF Cobra (#CRPF_Koraba) battalion have been killed and 02 soldiers are injured, who have been sent to Raipur. After the encounter, the Naxalites ran away seeing themselves as weak. After the firing stopped by the Naxalites, when the soldiers took stock of the incident, a huge amount of weapons and Naxalite material has been recovered there.
I Gsundararaj P. told that 01 Naxalite has been killed in the encounter, whose body is being recovered and identified. 02 soldiers have been martyred, while 02 soldiers have been injured, who are being sent to Raipur. (H.C.).
