The government on
Monday said that a person must get two doses of the same vaccine to complete
the vaccination against Covid 19( #Corona_virus ) .
It said two doses of different vaccine will not prove effective against
Coronavirus.
The two vaccines which have been approved by the DCGI on Sunday for emergency
use are COVISHIELD and COVAXIN.
It further said that after the first dose, the second dose must be taken after
28 days, and two weeks after taking the second dose, the sufficient amount of
anti-bodies start developing in the person’s body.
After taking the corona virus vaccine, every person will have to rest for at
least half an hour at the vaccination center so that they can be treated in
time if they feel any problem after taking the vaccine, the government added.
If the person feels any kind of discomfort after taking the Corona vaccine,
then he / she must report it to the nearest health authorities, ANM or ASHA
worker, the health ministry said.
The central government has instructed all states and union territories to make
full preparations to deal with the side effects of the corona vaccine.
The government has also informed that carrying a photo id proof is mandatory for
a person to get the vaccination done at the designated place, and, in case a
person fails to do that then the vaccination will not be done.
The Union Health and Family Ministry has said that it is mandatory for any
person to carry a photo identity card, not only for registration but also at
the time of vaccination.
Apart from this, registration is also mandatory for every person who wants to
get the vaccination done. It will be only after registration process, the
person will be given information about the place and time prescribed for
vaccination.
Aadhaar card, driving license, Voter ID card, PAN card, passport, job card or
pension documents are valid for the purpose and apart from these, health
insurance smart card, MNREGA card issued under the scheme of Ministry of Labor,
official identification issued by MP, MLA or Legislative Councilor Identity
card, bank or Passbook issued by Post Office, Service ID Card issued by Central
or State Government or Public Limited Company are valid documents.
All these documents will be valid only if they have a photo of the person
