Webinar organized on Vivekananda Jayanti Restraint and values are the basis of a strong life: Suyash

Emphasis on social reform and progress through spirituality

Raipur (The States. news) Shri Suyash Shukla, General Manager, Jindal Steel & Power Limited said that only restraint and values can become the basis of strong life. If India has to be made Vishwaguru again, then the emphasis has to be laid on social reform and progress through spirituality.

Shri Shukla was expressing his views in a webinar organized today on the topic “Thoughts of Swami Vivekananda Ji are contemporary in every situation and time”. He said that through spiritual education, if restraint and values are instilled at the primary level, then children can grow up to become devoted and loyal citizens of the nation. The whole world progressed rapidly, but due to lack of spirituality, environmental crisis has arisen today, due to indiscriminate progress, many such diseases have arisen, which threatens human existence itself. If spirituality was associated with education all over the world, then the picture of the universe would have been different. The problem of clean air to breathe and clean water to drink would not have arisen.

Shri Shukla said that not only India but the entire humanity should learn from the experience of Swami Vivekananda. He had associated spirituality with education, courage, and whole life, and by following the same path one can do the welfare of all humanity. There is a need for spiritual education in India before making any effort for development.

People should be motivated to walk on that path by exploring the truth which is hidden in our Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads, and other religious texts. When the scriptures enter the minds of the people, only then the path of meaningful development will emerge. He also emphasized providing spiritual education to the children in schools from the very beginning.
