New Delhi, (thestates.news)| In the last 24 hours till Thursday morning, India registered 18,930 new Covid-19 cases, whereas 14,650 patients recovered, taking the tally of recovered patients, since the beginning of the pandemic, to over 4.29 crore in the country. Total number of active Covid-19 patients in the country is 1,09,568, this comprises approximately 0.25% of the total cases registered since the beginning of the pandemic. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, more than 4.38 lakh tests were conducted in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative tests conducted, since the beginning of the pandemic, to over 86.53 crore. Recovery rate, at a consistent pace, currently stands at 98.52%. Weekly Positivity Rate in the country is gradually increasing and currently stands at 3.86% and the Daily Positivity rate currently has increased till 4.32%.(HS):
