Raipur (thestates.news) |Under the aegis of the Chhattisgarh State Rifle Association, the 24th State Level Shooting Championship will be held from 28th August to 6th September 2025 at the Shooting Range, 4th Battalion, Mana, Raipur. This prestigious championship has been successfully organized for the past 23 years with the support of the Jindal Group.
Shooters from all districts of Chhattisgarh, both men and women, in Junior and Senior categories, will participate in the competition. The following events will be conducted: 10 Meter Rifle & Pistol Shooting 25 Meter Pistol Shooting 50 Meter Rifle & Pistol Shooting As per the norms of the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI), shooters achieving the minimum qualifying scores in each match and category will get the opportunity to participate in the East Zone and the All India G.V. Mavlankar Championship (Pre-National).
Registration Process: Interested players can register through the official website of the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) by 28th August 2025. All native residents of Chhattisgarh are eligible to participate. For proof of residence, Voter ID card, Passport, or Police Verification Certificate will be required.
This championship is expected to play a vital role in providing a platform to young shooters of
Chhattisgarh to gain recognition at the national and international levels.
