MMI Narayana Hospital Marks World Organ Donation Day with EnthusiasticParticipation and Awareness Activities Raipur

Raipur (thestates.news) |MMI Narayana Hospital proudly celebrated World Organ Donation Day yesterday with the participation of over 50 individuals, including hospital staff, nursing students, and members of the community. The event aimed to spread awareness about the importance of organ donation and encourage more people to pledge their organs to save lives.

The day was filled with activities designed to educate and inspire. Under the guidance of Dr. Sunil Dharmani, the nursing staff and students worked together to create impactful posters that highlighted the significance of organ donation. These visual representations served as a powerful
tool to convey the message that “There is no bigger donation than donating your organs. Donating an organ can bring happiness and smiles to others. By just donating an organ, you can continue to live forever.”

The event also featured plays and educational programs organized by the hospital staff, which
emphasized the life-saving potential of organ donation. A competition among the hospital staff was
held to creatively present the message that every person should consider donating their organs to
save someone in need.

During the event Dr. Sunil Dharmani said that, there are so many people who lose their lives due to
organ failure, despite their relentless efforts to survive. “Unfortunately, the importance of organ
donation is often overlooked, and many potential donors are not prepared to take this life-saving
step. How many organs are lost due to ignorance? If we donate our organs, we give someone a
chance to live, a chance to prepare for their future, and the opportunity to experience happiness
once again.”

The hospital’s activities were conducted with the core belief that “Organ donation is a noble act, one that can be done to save lives even after the donor’s death.” (Organ donation is a noble deed, one that can save lives even after the donor’s death.) The event concluded with a resounding message to the public: “Donate your organs to give someone another chance to live.”

NHMMI Narayana Super-Specialty Hospital hopes that this celebration of World Organ Donation Day
will inspire more people to pledge their organs and contribute to saving lives. Through continued
efforts and awareness, we can build a future where organ donation becomes a common practice,
and fewer lives are lost due to organ failure.
