Raipur (thestates.news) | Chhattisgarh-born Indian actor Mr. Bhagwan Tiwari, known for his roles in popular movies like ‘Raees’ (as Inspector Devji) and ‘Masaan’ (as Inspector Mishra), visited Kalinga University today. Students from the Departments of Arts and Humanities, B.A. Film Making, Bachelor of Computer Application, and Bachelor of Commerce attended an interactive session with the
actor.
Mr. Tiwari received a warm welcome at the university, where he was greeted with a traditional
tilak and safa by Mr. Abhishek Sharma, Director of Admission and Marketing. He was also
honored with a potted plant, a shreefal (coconut), and a shawl by dignitaries present in the
auditorium. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a brief
introduction highlighting Mr. Tiwari’s achievements, along with a two-minute teaser of his film
clips displayed on the LED screen.
During the session, Mr. Tiwari shared his journey and struggles in the Bollywood industry,
recounting memorable moments from his childhood. He inspired students with a motivational
speech about the importance of education and time management, encouraging them to set
clear goals and pursue them with hard work and dedication. He urged students to create a
schedule for their dreams and stay committed with passion.
The session also included a discussion on career opportunities by Mr. Nitesh Jha, Director of
NIIRA Educom, followed by an engaging Q&A session where students interacted with Mr. Tiwari
to clarify their doubts. At the conclusion, a memento was presented to Mr. Tiwari, who later
toured the campus and appreciated the facilities developed for students.
Ms. Alisha Yadav, a first-semester MBA student, served as the Master of Ceremony. Social
media influencer Mr. Pijush K Roy was also welcomed by Mr. Abhishek Sharma. Mr. Pijush K
