Blood Donation Camp at MIT-ADT Receives Overwhelming ResponseOrganized on the Occasion of Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad’s Birthday

Pune (Thestates.news) | A grand blood donation camp organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) at MIT Art, Design and Technology University, Pune, on the occasion of the 59th birthday of the university’s Executive President, Prof. Dr. Mangesh T. Karad, received an overwhelming response from students, faculty, and non-teaching staff. A total of 111 donors came forward to contribute, showcasing their strong sense of social responsibility.

The camp was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Dr. Rajesh S., in the presence of dignitaries including Registrar Dr. Mahesh Chopde, Dr. Rajnish Kaur Sachdev Bedi, Dr. Vipul Dalal, Dr. Virendra Shete, Dr. Sudarshan Sanap, NSS Coordinator Prof. Vishal Patil, and Prof. Hanumant Pawar.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rajesh S. said, “Every year, on the occasion of Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad’s birthday, several social initiatives are organized at Vishwaraj Bagh. This year too, the celebrations included many socially impactful events. From early morning, students enthusiastically arrived at the camp and donated blood. It is truly commendable and heartening that 111 units of blood were collected during the drive.”
