Raipur (thestates.news) | The Fisheries Department has declared the period from June 16 to August 15 as “closed season” in the ponds, water sources, rivers, streams and small rivers, tributaries and reservoirs of the district to protect the fish population during the rainy season. All types of fishing in these will be completely banned till August 15, 2025.
