Discussions Focus on Strengthening Social Welfare and Joint Implementation of Schemes
Raipur (thestates.news) | Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale called on Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai at Mantralaya, Mahanadi Bhawan, on Tuesday. The Chief Minister extended a warm welcome to the Union Minister by presenting a traditional shawl, coconut, and memento, reflecting the rich cultural hospitality of the state.
During the interaction, Chief Minister Sai briefed Minister Athawale on a range of state government initiatives aimed at supporting socially and educationally backward communities, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities. He also underlined Chhattisgarh’s commitment to the effective implementation of centrally sponsored welfare schemes across all districts. Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap was also present during the meeting.
Commending the state’s efforts, Minister Athawale lauded the Chhattisgarh government for its proactive role in translating central policies into tangible benefits at the grassroots level. He emphasized that sustained collaboration between the Centre and the state would be vital in ensuring the upliftment of the most underprivileged sections of society.
