Bastar Dussehra is a symbol of tradition, faith and cultural pride
Raipur (thestates.news) | The world famous historical Bastar Dussehra festival will start with the Pat Jatra Puja Vidhan on the occasion of Hareli Amavasya tomorrow Thursday in the courtyard of the Maa Danteshwari temple, the revered goddess of the Bastar region of Chhattisgarh. During this, the traditional Manjhi-Chalaki, Member-Memberin, Pujari, Patel, Naik-Paik, Sevadaar will perform the Thurlu Khotla ritual to make tools for the construction of the chariot. On this occasion, the Bastar Dussehra Committee has requested the Manjhi-Chalaki, Member-Memberin, Pujari, Patel, Naik-Paik, Sevadaars along with eminent citizens and villagers to attend and participate in the Pat Jatra Puja Vidhan.
