Amin Recruitment Examination for Water Resources Department to Be Held on December 7

Raipur (thestates.news) | Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (Vyapam), Raipur, will conduct the Amin Recruitment Examination for the Water Resources Department on December 7, 2025. A total of 756 examination centres have been set up, where approximately 2,29,970 candidates are expected to appear.

Authorities have issued strict guidelines to ensure a fair and transparent examination process. Candidates will not be permitted to carry any communication devices, electronic gadgets, digital watches, purses, pouches, scarves, belts, or caps inside the examination hall. Those wearing religious or culturally significant attire will be required to undergo additional security checks and must therefore report to the examination centre well in advance. Any candidate violating the instructions or resorting to unfair means will face disqualification.

The Amin Recruitment Examination will be conducted across 16 districts—Ambikapur, Korea, Bilaspur, Dantewada, Dhamtari, Durg, Jagdalpur, Janjgir-Champa, Jashpur, Kanker, Kabirdham, Korba, Mahasamund, Raigarh, Raipur and Rajnandgaon, while candidates from all 33 districts of Chhattisgarh will participate.

Candidates Must Wear Light-Coloured, Half-Sleeved Attire

Candidates have been advised to appear for the examination in light-coloured, half-sleeved clothing. Dark colours such as black, navy blue, dark green, purple, maroon, violet, and dark chocolate brown have been prohibited. Only simple, pocketless sweaters are allowed, which must be removed and presented for checking during the security frisking. There is no restriction regarding colour or sleeve length for sweaters. Footwear must be limited to slippers. No ear ornaments of any kind are permitted.

Vyapam has issued detailed guidelines to ensure the smooth, transparent and impartial conduct of the examinations. Candidates are advised to thoroughly read these instructions beforehand and reach the examination centre with all required documents and appropriate attire. Non-compliance may result in cancellation of candidature and further disciplinary action.

Candidates Must Arrive Two Hours Before the Exam Begins

For all upcoming Vyapam examinations, candidates must reach the centre at least two hours before the commencement of the exam to ensure timely frisking of every candidate. The main gate of the centre will be closed 30 minutes before the exam begins. Candidates have been urged to strictly adhere to the time schedule to avoid inconvenience.
