CM Vishnu Deo Sai Pays Tribute to Former Legislators in Special Assembly Session

Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday paid homage to three prominent public representatives who made significant contributions during the state’s 25-year journey. Speaking at a special session of the Chhattisgarh Assembly, the Chief Minister remembered Smt. Rajni Tai Upasne, Shri Banwari Lal Agrawal and Shri Radheshyam Shukla, describing them as leaders whose work left a lasting imprint on public life.

Shri Sai said Smt. Rajni Tai Upasne, the first woman MLA from Raipur, was an inspiring presence in both political and social spheres, and that her passing was an irreparable loss for the state.

Remembering Shri Banwari Lal Agrawal, former Deputy Speaker of the Assembly and a two-term MLA, he said Shri Agrawal’s commitment to public service, his organisational work and his dedication to society would continue to guide future generations.

Speaking of Shri Radheshyam Shukla, the Chief Minister said he would be remembered as a disciplined and devoted public representative whose entire life was committed to serving people. He added that Shri Shukla’s demise had taken away a leader deeply dedicated to the state’s welfare.

The Chief Minister extended prayers for peace to the departed souls and strength to their families, noting that the contribution of all three leaders would remain an enduring part of Chhattisgarh’s democratic legacy.
