CM and Assembly Speaker Unveil the Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup Trophy 2025

Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh unveiled the prestigious FIH Junior Men’s Hockey World Cup 2025 trophy at the Assembly premises on November 18. Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao and State Cabinet Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap were also present. Notably, the glittering trophy of the world-renowned FIH Junior Men’s Hockey World Cup 2025 arrived in Chhattisgarh on November 18 for the first time as part of its India Tour. It was unveiled at a dignified ceremony held in the Legislative Assembly complex.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that hosting the FIH Junior World Cup 2025 in India is a matter of immense pride, and the arrival of the trophy in Chhattisgarh is a moment of special honour for the state. Expressing gratitude to Hockey India, he stated that the trophy tour is a vital initiative to promote enthusiasm and inspire sports across the country.
