CM Vishnu Deo Sai shares two years of governance experience at the ‘Panchjanya Conclave –Danteshwari Dialogue’

Raipur (thestates.news) | At the ‘Panchjanya Conclave – Danteshwari Dialogue’ held at Mayfair Lake Resort in Nava Raipur on December 2, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai spoke on a wide range of issues, including the government’s two-year performance, development initiatives in Bastar and Surguja, the elimination of Naxalism, industrial investment, women’s empowerment and technology-driven growth models. During the session, he responded to questions with clarity and explained the government’s schemes and future roadmap.

Women’s empowerment is the most significant achievement

The Chief Minister stated that the Mahtari Vandan Yojana has emerged as the most significant means of women’s empowerment over the past two years. Under the scheme, “70 lakh women receive a monthly financial assistance of Rs. 1,000”, bringing positive change in family nutrition, children’s education and household needs.

Tech-driven Chhattisgarh: Special provisions in the new industrial policy

He stated that the state government has introduced a new industrial policy that places strong emphasis on employment. To attract investment, the policy offers attractive incentives, a “single-window system”, and over 250 Ease of Doing Business reforms. As a result, investment proposals worth nearly Rs. 8 lakh crore have been received. The policy prioritises new-generation industries, including IT, AI, green technology, and semiconductors. Nava Raipur is being developed into an IT hub with a semiconductor plant and an AI Data Centre Park.

Bastar’s development — balanced model of identity and modern opportunities

The Chief Minister stated that development in Bastar will be based on preserving local culture while creating modern opportunities. Agriculture, irrigation, organic farming, forest product processing, tourism, and local livelihoods are areas of focus for the government.

Better support for forest-produce collectors

The Pradhan Mantri Van Dhan Yojana and the expansion of forest-based processing units are helping to increase the income of forest produce collectors.

A ‘social-psychological shift’ against Naxalism

He said the act of Naxal victims presenting their case in Delhi was a historic moment. This brought a sense of confidence among people in Bastar and exposed the “real face of Maoist violence” before the nation.

Firm action on forced conversions; focus on cultural security

The Chief Minister stated that strict action is being taken against conversions through inducement or pressure, and the government is preparing to present a Bill in the Assembly for this purpose.

Rapid improvements in education, health and digital connectivity in tribal regions

He noted that the installation of mobile towers, the reopening and rationalisation of schools in Bastar and Surguja have significantly improved the quality of education.

Rehabilitation and expansion of services in Naxal-affected regions

Under the Niyad Nella Naar Yojana, Aadhaar cards, Ayushman cards, KCC cards, as well as essential services such as electricity, water, and roads, are being rapidly delivered in Naxal-affected areas.

Successful implementation of guarantees within two years

The Chief Minister stated that most of the guarantees announced by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi have been fulfilled. These include the approval of 18 lakh houses, a better support price for farmers, the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, increased remuneration for tendupatta collectors, and transparency in recruitment examinations. He added that the state has delivered a “decisive blow to Maoism” over the past two years.
