Transparent system brings prosperity to farmers

Shri Nand Kumar expresses gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai for the Rs. 3,100 support price

Raipur (thestates.news) | Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the transparent and farmer-centric paddy procurement system has strengthened confidence among farmers across Chhattisgarh. For Kharif Marketing Year 2025–26, 17 procurement centres in Narayanpur district have been equipped with essential facilities such as gunny bags, shade, drinking water and medical kits. The introduction of the online token system has eliminated long queues and ensured a smooth, hassle-free process. Continuous monitoring by nodal officers and the swift transfer of payment within two days have further improved efficiency and removed dependence on middlemen.

At the Mahka procurement centre, Shri Nand Kumar appreciated the arrangements and welcomed the support price of Rs. 3,100 per quintal, stating that the system is providing real benefits to farmers. He expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai for implementing a procurement model that promotes transparency and farmer self-reliance.

Other farmers at the centre also commended the improved procurement mechanism and hoped that such facilities would continue to strengthen their trust in the government.
