Raipur (thestates.news) | In a democracy, direct dialogue between the government and the people is the true test of good governance.
Through ‘Jan Darshan’, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai is not only listening to the hardships of the person standing at the last mile, but is also understanding the problems and ensuring solutions on the spot. This sensitive and prompt approach towards people’s needs, demands and hardships clearly establishes that sensitivity lies at the core of good governance. When public aspirations find direction through the Chief Minister’s empathy, the concept of Antyodaya truly takes shape.
The Jan Darshan organised on Thursday at the Chief Minister’s official residence-cum-office in the state capital Raipur emerged as a living example of service, sensitivity and solutions. A total of 1,950 applications were received during the Jan Darshan. Chief Minister Shri Sai listened seriously to the problems of citizens who had come from far-flung areas of the state and issued clear instructions to the concerned officials on the spot for their redressal. Immediate financial assistance was approved for several needy individuals, further reinforcing the message that resolving issues related to public welfare is the highest priority of the state government.
