Raipur (thestates.news) | The One-Day International Seminar on “Artificial Intelligence in Education Research and Academic writing: Opportunities, Ethics and Innovation,” held on 16th April 2026, was a resounding success thanks to the collective contributions of several esteemed leaders
and academicians.

The event commenced with the opening remarks and a summary report by the Convenor, Prof. Dr. Shraddha Verma, Dean of the Faculty of Education, who also presided over the inauguration of the E-Proceeding. The proceedings represent the collective intellectual effort of registered participants from prestigious institutions like BHU, NIEPA, and international partners from South Africa and Fiji.
The academic foundations were laid by the Vice Chancellor, Dr. R. Shridhar, who delivered the Inaugural Address, followed by intensive technical sessions led by Dr. Sanjay Kumar (Principal, Saraswati College of Professional Studies), Dr. Kameshwaran Envernathan Govender (Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa), Prof. Sambit Kumar Padhi (HOD, Guru Ghasidas University), and Prof. Dr. Deepa Das (SCERT, Raipur).
The seminar concluded with a distinguished Valedictory Speech by Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar of Kalinga University, and a formal Vote of Thanks proposed by the Co-Ordinator, Dr. Saroj Nayyar, acknowledging the tireless support of the organizing committee and technical staff who managed the virtual tracks and sessions. The Organizing Committee consisted of Dr. D. Kalidoss (Director of Sports), Dr. Harsha Sharma (Assistant Professor), and Dr. Sanjeev Yadav (Assistant Professor), all from the Faculty of Education. Technical management and session coordination were handled by the Technical Committee, which included Mr. Pritam Patel and Mr. Dushyant Sahu.
