Bhilai Steel Plant Revives School Safety Quiz After Two Decades; Nearly 500 Students Participate

Raipur (thestates.news) | In a significant step towards strengthening safety awareness among school students, the Safety Engineering Department of Steel Authority of India Limited–Bhilai Steel Plant (SAIL–BSP) has revived its school-level Safety Quiz Competition after a gap of more than two decades, engaging nearly 500 students of Classes IX and X.

The programme was organised at the BSP Senior Secondary School, Sector-10, with senior officials and educators highlighting the importance of inculcating safety consciousness from an early age. Shri Debdatta Satpathy, Chief General Manager (Safety and Fire Services), Shri S. K. Agrawal, General Manager In-Charge (Safety Engineering Department), and Smt. Shikha Dubey, General Manager (Education), attended as chief guests, while Smt. Sumita Sarkar, Principal of the school, was present as special guest. (s-pib)
