CM Bhupesh administers oath to 15 Parliamentary Secretaries : Oath of office and secrecy taken by Parliamentary Secretaries in a ceremony held at Chief Minister’s residence

Raipur ( thestates.news) Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel administered the oath of office and secrecy to the 15 MLAs as Parliamentary Secretaries in a simple and dignified ceremony held at his Raipur residence premises this evening.
 Among the newly appointed parliamentary secretaries, Shri Chintamani Maharaj took oath in Sanskrit, while Shri Parasnath Rajwade, Mrs. Ambika Singhdev, Shri Chandradev Prasad Rai, Shri Dwarkadhish Yadav, Shri Gurudayal Singh Banjare, Shri Indrashah Mandavi, Shri Kunwarsingh Nishad, Dr. Mrs. Rashmi  Ashish Singh, Shri Rekhchand Jain, Ms. Shakuntala Sahu, Shri Shishupala Sori, Shri U.D.  Minj, Shri Vikas Upadhyay and Shri Vinod Sevan Lal Chandrakar took oath in Hindi.
       After the swearing in, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel congratulated and extended his best wishes to all the newly appointed Parliamentary Secretaries.  He said that all Parliamentary Secretaries would get an opportunity to work with experienced ministers.  He urged newly appointed Parliamentary Secretaries to take this as an opportunity to learn and fulfill their responsibilities in a better way. In his address, Chief Minister said that in order to succeed, public representatives need to get hold of their areas, have knowledge of administrative work and get proficient in the activities of the Legislative Assembly.
 Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that Chhattisgarh has been amongst the leading states in the country in prevention of Corona pandemic and providing relief to the people. For this, he appreciated the contribution of common citizens, administration, public representatives and social organizations.  Chief Minister said that the challenge of Corona crisis is not over yet, it will have to be fought. He also appealed to strictly adhere to all the measures of protection. He also referred to the Rajiv Gandhi Nyay Yojana on this occasion. The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country and the world, which is going to start the purchase of  cow dung for 2 rupees under the Godhan Nyay Yojana. At the ceremony, the people supported the Godhan Nyay Yojana by clapping. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel further said that the Government of Chhattisgarh has provided funds directly to farmers, villagers, tribals and workers during various Corona crisis period through various schemes and programs. This is the reason why the recession has not affected Chhattisgarh. The state government has followed public welfare policies, due to which the economy of Chhattisgarh has been stable.
 On this occasion, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Charan Das Mahant, MP Shri P.L.  Punia, MP Smt. Jyotsna Mahant, all ministers of the state government, MLAs, officials of various institutions including several people’s representatives and senior officials of the state government were present. The swearing-in ceremony was conducted by Chief Secretary Shri R.P. Mandal, while the vote of thanks was given by Shri D. D. Singh, Secretary, General Administration Department.
      Soon after the swearing-in program, with the approval of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, an order was issued to associate all the newly appointed Parliamentary Secretaries with Ministers.  Under this, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Dwarkadhish Yadav has been given the charge of School Education and Tribal Development Minister Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam, Mr. Vinod Sevan Chandrakar and Mr. Gurudayal Singh Banjare have been associated with Health and Panchayat Minister Mr. T.S. Singhdev. Shri Chandradev Prasad Rai and Shri Shishupal Sori with Minister of Forests and Transport Shri Mohammad Akbar, Ms. Shakuntala Sahu with Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources Mr. Ravindra Chaubey, Mr. Vikas Upadhyay and Shri Chintamani Maharaj with Home and Public Works Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Smt. Ambika Singhdev to Public Health Engineering and Village Industries Minister Shri Guru Rudrakumar and Shri U.D.  Minj has been associated with Commercial Tax (Excise) and Industries Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma.
     Parliamentary Secretary Shri Parasnath Rajwade to Higher Education and Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Mr. Umesh Patel, Mr. Indrashah Mandavi to Revenue and Commercial Tax (Registration and Stamps) Minister Mr. Jaysingh Agarwal, Mr. Kunwarsingh Nishad to Food and Culture Minister Mr. Amarjit Bhagat, Dr. Mrs. Rashmi Ashish Singh has been associated with the Minister of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Mrs. Anila Bhendia and Mr. Rekhchand Jain has been associated with Urban Administration and Labour Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahariya.
