New Delhi (thestates.news) | Marking National Sports Day 2026 and carrying forward the spirit of the Fit India Movement, the Legislative Department and the Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law and Justice, jointly organised a two day sports meet on 1 and 2 September 2026 at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. The celebration brought together more than 300 officers and employees in a shared effort to promote fitness, active living, teamwork and a culture of wellbeing in the workplace.
The programme reflected the larger message of National Sports Day that sport is not only about competition, but also about building healthier habits, stronger teams and a more energetic and engaged workforce.
More than 300 officers and employees of the Legislative Department and the Department of Legal Affairs, including personnel from Vidhi Sahitya Prakashan and the Official Languages Wing, participated enthusiastically in the two day event.(s-pib)
