Ranjana Chopra, Secy, MoTA reviews Ministry of Tribal Affairs’ schemes such as DAJGUA and PM JANMAN on 3rd September 2026 with a focus on strengthening delivery mechanisms, improving convergence, accelerating fund utilisation and addressing implementation bottlenecks across states and implementing agencies.
The review, held under the Chairpersonship of Smt. Ranjana Chopra,Secretary Ministry of Tribal Affairs brought together senior officials of the Ministry INCLUDING Additional Secretary Manish Thakur and other senior officers, the National Programme Management Unit (NPMU), State Governments and implementing agencies to assess the physical and financial progress of key interventions and deliberate on measures to enhance their effectiveness and impact. The meeting included a detailed component-wise review of the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN) and the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DA-JGUA).(S-PIB)
