Chhattisgarh to Emerge as One of the Country’s Leading States: CM Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur (thestates.news)| Moving beyond the challenge of Naxalism, Chhattisgarh has now entered a new era of development, good governance, investment, and innovation. In the journey towards ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’ (Developed India@2047), Chhattisgarh will establish itself as one of the nation’s leading states. The government is working systematically to harness the state’s natural resources, youth power, and immense development potential to foster public welfare and economic prosperity. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai shared these views today while addressing the ‘LT Exchange’ event—themed ‘Naxal-free, Development-oriented Chhattisgarh@2047’—organized by the news channel ‘Live Times’ at a private hotel on VIP Road in the capital, Raipur.

Chief Minister Sai spoke at length on a wide range of topics, including the decisive campaign against Naxalism, the development of Bastar, farmers’ welfare, women’s empowerment, housing, investment, good governance, digital governance, and artificial intelligence.

The Chief Minister noted that while Chhattisgarh was once primarily known in the country and the world for the issue of Naxalism, that image has changed rapidly today. Decisive success against Naxalism, coupled with new avenues for development, has brought about a positive shift in the perception of the state. Chhattisgarh securing the top spot nationwide in the field of water conservation is a significant achievement of this transforming state.
