Bijapur records the highest rainfall of 1464.4 mm while Surguja records the lowest of 258.1 mm
Raipur (thestates.news) | An average rainfall of 583.9 mm has been recorded in Chhattisgarh since June 1, 2022. The highest rainfall of 1464.4 mm was recorded in the Bijapur district while the Surguja district recorded the lowest average rainfall of 258.1 mm. This is according to the district-wise rainfall statistics from June 01 to August 04.
According to the information received from the state-level control room for flood disaster management, Surguja has received 341.1 mm of rainfall since June 1. Similarly, Balrampur received 273.5 mm rainfall, Jashpur 330.1 mm, Koriya 355.1 mm, Raipur 389.9 mm, Balodabazar 552.5 mm, Gariyaband 646.8 mm, Mahasamund 564.8 mm, Dhamtari 677.0 mm, Bilaspur 624.2 mm, Mungeli 628.9 mm, Raigarh 536.0 mm, Janjgir-Champa 680.9 mm, Korba 449.8 mm, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi 559.5 mm, Durg 530.7 mm, Kabirdham 562.6 mm, Rajnandgaon 605.2 mm, Balod 688.5 mm, Bemetara 389.6 mm, Bastar 789.9 mm, Kondagaon 665.1 mm, Kanker 792.1 mm, Narayanpur 663.1 mm, Dantewada 806.6 mm and Sukma recorded an average rainfall of 552.7 mm.
