New Delhi, (thestates.news) : In Gujarat, all the parties have given full strength for the second phase of the assembly elections. Leaders of all parties including BJP, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party have intensified the election campaign. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address public meetings at four places today. Narendra Modi did a 54-kilometer-long roadshow on Wednesday. He will hold public meetings in Kankrej, Patan, Sojitra and Ahmedabad today. His public meeting will start at 12 noon. Other than this
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also hold a public meeting and roadshow. Shah will hold a public meeting at Becharji in Mehsana at 10.30 am. After this, he will hold a public meeting in Vijapur. There will be a road show from Apsara Cinema in Vadodara to Jubilee Bagh at 5 pm. Amit Shah will hold a public meeting at Gandhinagar South at 7.30 pm. A voter turnout of 60.23 per cent was recorded in the first phase of Gujarat assembly elections on 89 seats in 19 districts of Saurashtra, Kutch and southern regions of the state on Thursday.(HS)
