Raipur(thestates.news): Chhattisgarh government has sanctioned an amount of Rs 30 crore 59 lakh 5 thousand for carrying out the works of nine different irrigation projects in the state. With the completion of the works of the schemes, the irrigation facility will be expanded in 3 thousand 32 hectare areas. Three crore 87 lakh 60 thousand rupees have been approved for the renovation work of Kukjharia diversion scheme of Wadrafnagar development block of Balrampur-Ramanujganj district.
With the completion of the scheme, an irrigation facility will be available in a 280 hectare area. Two crore 57 lakh 74 thousand rupees have been approved for the renovation of top and canal of Deviganj Reservoir scheme of development block-Balrampur and for canal lining work. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facilities will be available in 109 hectares of land. Two crore three lakh 13 thousand rupees have been approved for the renovation work of Bhulsi Reservoir scheme of development block-Kusmi.With the completion of the scheme, an irrigation facility will be available in a 176 hectare area. Three crore 69 lakh 45 thousand rupees have been approved for the canal construction work of Saraidih Reservoir Scheme of development block Kusmi. With the completion of the scheme, an irrigation facility will be available in 210 hectare area. Two crore 24 lakh 45 thousand rupees have been approved for the renovation work of the dam and canal of Kameshwar Nagar Reservoir Scheme of development block-Ramchandrapur.
Two crore 69 lakh 23 thousand rupees have been sanctioned for the lining work of Banki Nala Diversion Scheme of Jashpur district’s development block. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facilities will be available in 122 hectares of land.Seven crore 82 lakh rupees have been approved for the renovation work of Tamta Reservoir Scheme of development block Pathalgaon. With the completion of the scheme, an irrigation facility will be available in a 1660 hectare area. Two crore 96 lakh 50 thousand rupees have been sanctioned for the work of Kododhara Reservoir Scheme of Development Block Garden. With the completion of the scheme, an irrigation facility will be available in a 195 hectare area. Two crore 68 lakh 95 lakh rupees have been approved for the lining work of Benjora diversion scheme of development block-Manora. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facilities will be available in 121 hectare area.
