Raipur (thestates.news)| Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel returned an amount of Rs 2 crore 56 lakh to 3 thousand 274 investors. In a virtual program organised in his residential office Chief Minister returned the amount to the investors of chit fund company of Durg district. So far, an approximate amount of about Rs 40 crore has been returned to investors in the state.
In Chhattisgarh, strict action is being taken against chit fund companies. To date, 126 directors and 8 officers of chit fund companies have been arrested in the Durg district. The funds are being returned to investors by seizing the assets of fraudulent chit fund companies
