New Delhi, , (#thestates.news) Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Maidaan’, the film which
will tell the story of golden era of Indian football 1952-1962, will release on
August 13, 2021.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Ajay shared the new poster of the movie
and said,”2021 Independence week. An untold story that will make every Indian
proud. 13th August mark the date. #Maidaan2021”.
Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the movie stars Ajay Devgn, Priyamani,
Gajraj Rao and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh in the lead roles.
The flick is produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla and Arunava
Joy Sengupta. The Screenplay and dialogues are given by Saiwyn Quadros and
Ritesh Shah respectively.
A story of self-belief, ‘Maidaan’ will see Ajay playing the architect of modern
Indian football, Syed Abdul Rahim.
