Raipur (thestates.news)| Chhattisgarh government has sanctioned an amount of Rs 34 crore 15 lakh 16 thousand for the works of twelve different irrigation projects in the state. With the completion of the scheme, an irrigation facility will be available in almost 1 thousand 518-hectare areas. Under which an amount of Rs 2 crore 59 lakh 79 thousand has been sanctioned for the construction work of Navagaon stop dam in Champaran Nala of Abhanpur development block of Raipur district. With the completion of the scheme, an irrigation facility will be available in a 70-hectare area. Rs 1 crore 55 lakh 40 thousand has been sanctioned for the construction work of the distributor branch and Parsada minor head regulator for water supply to Tila Anicut of Abhanpur development block and also for the construction of a culvert on the distributor branch. Remodeling and CC lining work in the distributor branch no.- 01 and 02 of Balodabazar branch canal of development block Arang an amount of Rs 3 crore 46 lakh 43 thousand has been approved. With the completion of the scheme, an irrigation facility will be available in the 910-hectare area.
In addition to this, an amount of Rs 3 crores 43 lakh 60 thousand has been sanctioned for Nandghat bank protection work on Shivnath river in Nawagarh development block of Bemetara district while an amount of Rs 3 crore 82 lakh 75 thousand has been sanctioned for the construction work of Mangalore embankment in Berla development block of Bemetara district. Rs. 3 crores 39 lakh 28 thousand rupees have been sanctioned for the renovation of the Bohirgaon reservoir top and spiel channel of Chhura development block of Gariaband district and for the lining work of the main canal and branch canals. With the completion of the scheme, an irrigation facility will be available in a 188-hectare area. An amount of Rs.2 crore 29 lakh 36 thousand rupees have been sanctioned for cement concrete work on the approach road from village Mudhena of the right bank of Rajiv Samoda Nisda Diversion Scheme of development block Mahasamund of Mahasamund district. Rs 3 crores 19 lakh 15 thousand has been sanctioned for the construction work of Bhairadih Anicut in Kanker district’s development block-Kanker. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facilities will be available in a 75-hectare area. Rs.4 crores 79 lakh 10 thousand rupees have been sanctioned for the construction work of the stop dam on Kukarnadi in Garhbengal of Narayanpur development block of Narayanpur district. With the completion of the scheme, an irrigation facility will be available in a 105-hectare area. An Amount of Rs 3 crore 87 lakh 95 thousand has been sanctioned for the construction work of a stop dam on the Narangi river of Makadi development block of Kondagaon district. With the completion of the scheme, an irrigation facility will be available in a 100-hectare area. An amount of Rs 1 crore 2 lakh 35 thousand has been sanctioned for the repair work of Dumarpali anicut of Magarlod development block of Dhamtari district.
