Damudaraha of Sakti district will be developed as a tourist destination

Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has announced to fulfill another guarantee of Modi ji. Now an amount of Rs 10,000 each will be provided annually to the rural landless laborers of the state. Chief Minister Shri Sai made this announcement today in a program organized at the district headquarters Sakti to mark the completion of one year of the state government. He said that this will benefit 5 lakh 62 thousand workers of the state.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced to develop Damudaraha of Sakti district as a tourist destination. He said that today the development works of about Rs 170 crore will give new impetus to the development of Sakti district. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai blessed 15 couples who got married under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said that this is also an auspicious occasion of Maha Kumbh organized in Prayagraj. This auspicious coincidence has come after 144 years. This is a good opportunity to take the holy benefit of this great tradition of Sanatan Dharma. To ensure that the pilgrims of our Chhattisgarh also take advantage of this, our government has made special arrangements in four and a half acres of area at the fair site. There is also arrangement for accommodation and food for the devotees who are going there from our state. In the Chhattisgarh Pavilion in Prayagraj, we have uniquely shown our Chhattisgarhi culture, which is being liked by the people.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that we are continuously working to fulfill the guarantee of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. In the first cabinet meeting, 18 lakh houses have been approved. In the first phase, approval was given for the construction of 8.47 lakh houses. Many of these beneficiaries are taking griha pravesh in their houses. Recently, Union Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan came to Nagpura in Durg where he approved 3.5 lakh additional houses. Along with this, the survey work of Awas Plus has also been started. The scope of eligibility for PM Awas has been increased. Now those who have two wheelers, 2.5 acres of irrigated land or 5 acres of unirrigated land, monthly income up to 15 thousand, can also apply for housing. An online app has been launched to simplify the process of housing approval. With this, any person can apply from home.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said that we are working to complete the development works for which the people of Chhattisgarh were waiting at full speed. Public money is being spent in public works. In the last one year, Rs 77 crore was given for 6 urban bodies in Sakti district. Paddy is being purchased at 3100 rupees, money for Mahtari Vandan is being received every month, housing is being constructed rapidly, this has given a new impetus to rural development. MP Mrs. Kamlesh Jangde also addressed the program. On this occasion, many public representatives including MLA Shri Ramkumar Yadav and a large number of common citizens were present.
