Aurangabad’s Jama Masjid turns into quarantine centre

Aurangabad,Maharashtra, (thestates.news)  As the number of coronavirus positive patients were increasing here since fortnight, a 100-bed facility quarantine centre has been set up at the Kashiful Uloom Madrasa at the Jama Masjid to quarantine those who came in contact with the positive patients.
The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has started this quarantine centre on Saturday evening, official sources from AMC said.
According to the sources, the health officer of the AMC Nita Padalkar started the quarantine centre to accommodate the people who came in contact with the positive patients.
The initiative to built the quarantine centre was taken by NCP State Vice President Abdul Qadir Maulana in collaboration with the AMC administration.
Madrasa Committee Chairman Abdul Jabbar Bagwan, Imam of Jama Masjid Hafiz Zakir, Secretary Md Rizwan Khan, Aslam Khan, Maulana Nasim Miftai, Corporator Syed Matin, Ashfaq Qureshi, Zafar Builder, Salim Ambani and AMC officials were present on the occasion, they added. (uni)(mediasaheb.com)
