Raipur (thestates.news) | Based on the information compiled by the state-level control room of State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Chhattisgarh has recorded an average rainfall of 378.1 mm from June 1, 2024, till now. As per the data collected from various districts of the state from June 1, 2024, to the morning of July 22, Bijapur district has recorded the highest average rainfall of 936.9 mm, while Surguja district has registered the lowest at 147.0 mm.
According to data received from the state-level flood control room, from June 1 till now, Surajpur district has recorded an average rainfall of 211.6 mm, Balrampur 346.6 mm, Jashpur 257.7 mm, Koriya 254.2 mm, and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur 212.9 mm.
Similarly, Raipur district recorded 312.5 mm, Baloda Bazar 347.0 mm, Gariaband 458.5 mm, Mahasamund 261.8 mm, Dhamtari 444.5 mm, Bilaspur 353.2 mm, Mungeli 354.9 mm, Raigarh 337.3 mm, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh 206.0 mm, Janjgir-Champa 337.9 mm, Sakti 283.7 mm, Korba 401.9 mm, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi 347.5 mm, Durg 247.4 mm, Kabirdham 311.7 mm, Rajnandgaon 429.9 mm, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki 438.1 mm, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai 287.7 mm, Balod 510.8 mm, Bemetara 229.0 mm, Bastar 526.9 mm, Kondagaon 431.0 mm, Kanker 515.2 mm, Narayanpur 519.7 mm, Dantewada 505.1 mm, and Sukma district recorded 709.8 mm of average rainfall from June 1 till now.
