Raipur (Thestates,news) | The Faculty of Pharmacy at Kalinga University hosted an awareness
session on “HIV/AIDS” on the University campus. This significant event was organized under
the guidance of Dr. Sandip Prasad Tiwari, Principal, Faculty of Pharmacy. The session aims to
generate and highlight awareness regarding the prevention of HIV/AIDS and reduce stigma and
discrimination related to HIV/AIDS.
A multitude of students from various academic programs including B.Pharmacy, D. Pharmacy, Pharm.D and M.Pharmacy actively participated in various activities organized such as group discussions and poster presentations. Throughout the workshop, the students participated with enthusiasm.
Mr. Sudeep Mandal, Ms. Dipti Pal, and Ms. Smita Suthar managed the workshop’s smooth coordination. After the event was successfully concluded, awards were awarded to all deserving participants to acknowledge their outstanding accomplishments.
The prizes for Group Discussion were awarded to – 1 st prize Ms. Aminu Garba, 2 nd prize Mr. Piyush, and 3 rd prize Mr. Aayush, students of B. Pharm. The prizes for the Poster Presentation were awarded to – 1 st prize Ms. Anjana and 2 nd prize Ms. Shreya, students of Pharm D and 3 rd prize Ms. Shuvigya Bhardwaj, student of B Pharm. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Sudeep Mandal, expressing gratitude to all participants and contributors for their valuable contributions in raising awareness about
HIV/AIDS.
