Raipur (thestates.news) | Kalinga University successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on 26 February 2026 at its university campus in collaboration with Shivnath Blood Center, Raipur. The camp was organized by the Office of the Chief Proctor and the Department of Sports. The blood donation camp commenced at 10:00 AM and continued till 5:00 PM.
During the camp, a total of 180 donors voluntarily donated blood, contributing wholeheartedly to this noble and life-saving cause. The enthusiasm and active participation of the donors were highly commendable. On this occasion, Shivnath Blood Center encouraged the donors by providing certificates and ear pods to each blood donor as a token of appreciation.
The camp was inaugurated in the gracious presence of Dr. R. Shridhar, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Lincy Roy (Head HR & Deputy Registrar), and Dr. Rahul Mishra (Dean Academic Affairs & Controller of Examination).
The event was successfully conducted under the able guidance and supervision of Dr. A. Vijayanand (Chief Proctor), D. Kalidoss (Director Sports), and Dr. Sanjeev Yadav (Sports Officer). Kalinga University has always remained committed to its social responsibilities and will continue to contribute towards societal welfare through such public-oriented and humanitarian initiatives in the future as well.
