Bengaluru,( thestates.news)| The Union government has cleared Mission Chandrayaan 3, according to K Shivan, Chairman Indian Space Research Organization(ISRO) here today.
Addressing a media conference the ISRO chief disclosed about land being acquired to the second spaceport for launching satellites at Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu.
He also informed that Mission Chandrayaan 2 landing could be a failure but we have achieved tremendous success by the project. The Orbiter continues to function and will remain operational till the next seven years.
As per the prestigious “Gaganayaana” Project India plans to send four astronauts to space by 2022 and this year the main focus would be testing the space flights intended for flight operations and training of astronauts, he explained, (HS)
