Raipur,(Thestates.news), Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai warmly welcomed the newly appointed Governor Shri Ramen Deka, and his wife, Smt. Rani Deka Kakoti, upon their arrival in Chhattisgarh at the State Hangar. During the welcome ceremony, Shri Deka remarked that Chhattisgarh is progressing rapidly and expressed his commitment to supporting the further growth of the state. He expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Minister of Home Affairs Shri Amit Shah for his appointment as Governor of Chhattisgarh. Shri Deka pledged to serve as a bridge between the central and state governments to accelerate the state’s development. He also highlighted his intention to promote cultural exchange between Assam and Chhattisgarh, stating that the state’s development is his top priority.Assembly Speaker Shri Raman Singh also greeted Shri Deka with a bouquet. Cabinet Ministers including Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Agriculture Minister Shri Ram Vichar Netam, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Food Minister Shri Dayaldas Baghel, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary, Sports Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, and Women and Child Development Minister Smt Laxmi Rajwade, also welcomed the newly appointed Governor.Upon arrival, Shri Deka received a Guard of Honour at the State Hangar and was welcomed with traditional Chhattisgarhi dances including Sua, Karma, Danda, and Raut Nacha. Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Director General of Police Shri Ashok Juneja, and other senior officials were also present.*Shri Ramen Deka to take oath as the tenth Governor of the State*The state’s newly appointed Governor, Shri Ramen Deka, will take the oath of office as the tenth Governor of Chhattisgarh. The oath-taking ceremony will be held on Wednesday, July 31, at 10:15 AM in the Darbar Hall of Raj Bhawan. The Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court, Shri Ramesh Sinha, will administer the oath to Shri Ramen Deka.
