Raipur, (the states. news)On October 2, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will unveil the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the Mahanadi campus through video conferencing. Culture Minister Shri Amarjit Bhagat visited the statue site in Mantri Mahanadi Bhavan complex today and gave necessary instructions to the officials. In the departmental review meeting held today, Shri Bhagat instructed the officers to complete the preparations to install Mahatma Gandhi’s statue in the Mahanadi Bhavan complex on the lines of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. Shri Bhagat said that the statue will be unveiled on October 2 to mark the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Secretary of the Culture Department Mr. Anbalagan P., Director Shri Amrit Vikas Topno and other officials were present in the meeting. (media saheb.com)
