Chief Minister permits District Collectors to give relaxation in operation of essential shops based on the to the local situation

Raipur (the states. news)Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel held a discussion with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce today through video conferencing from his residence office in the capital. Chamber of Commerce Representatives from four districts participated in this discussion with the Chief Minister. On this occasion, Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey and Forest and Climate Change Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar along with the Collectors and business representatives of Raipur, Durg, Rajnandgaon and Bilaspur also joined the discussion online. Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrata Sahu and Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi were present in the meeting.

Addressing this online meeting, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that State Government takes the interests of all the sections of society into consideration before taking any decision. Business-to-business interactions and dealings should also be governed with COVID appropriate behavior and 100 percent adherence to the government guidelines. Mr. Baghel has directed the district collectors concerned to give exemption in opening of the essential commodity shops on the basis of the local situation. He directed the Collectors to ensure that people do not crowd at one place at any time and strict compliance to the COVID rules and guidelines issued by the government should be ensured. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has instructed the collectors to hold discussions with all the sections of society including Chamber of Commerce, and after taking them into confidence, the necessary action should be taken.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that people from all the communities and backgrounds have participated in this fight against COVID-19 and supported the efforts of the administration in dealing with this crisis in the state. State Government is making every possible effort to ensure that none of the people have to face inconvenience during lockdown. In the virtual meeting held today, the business representatives assured of extending support and cooperation during this time of crisis.    Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Mr. Choubey and Forest Minister Mr. Akbar also addressed the meeting.
