Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the hero of India’s freedom struggle and the founder of the Indian National Army (INA), on the occasion of his birth anniversary, observed on 23 January.
In his message, Shri Sai said that the unparalleled contributions of Netaji to the nation are honored by celebrating his birth anniversary as ‘Parakram Diwas’. He highlighted that Netaji was renowned for his courageous leadership and deep patriotism, playing a pivotal role in India’s independence movement.
Quoting Netaji’s famous words, “Tum mujhe khoon do, main tumhe azaadi doonga” (Give me blood, and I will give you freedom), Shri Sai said that this slogan stirred enthusiasm among Indians and inspired them to dedicate themselves entirely to the cause of freedom.
Chief Minister Shri Sai further said that the saga of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s life is the one of courage, sacrifice, and unwavering determination, which continues to motivate the youth to dedicatedly serve the nation. He emphasized that Netaji’s contributions to India’s freedom struggle will forever remain a source of inspiration for generations to come.
