Interacts with Patients to Assess Quality of Healthcare Services
Raipur (thestates.news) | As part of his continuous statewide visits to assess the impact of good governance and public welfare schemes, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today made a surprise inspection of the Ayushman Arogya Mandir located in Sahaspur Gram Panchayat of Bemetara district. Arriving unannounced, the Chief Minister reviewed the medical facilities available at the center and interacted directly with patients to understand their health conditions and experiences.
During his visit, Chief Minister spoke with Mitanin health workers and instructed them to actively promote institutional deliveries. He stated that institutional delivery is vital for ensuring safe motherhood and the health of newborns. He urged the Mitanins to spread awareness among women in villages and encourage them to opt for hospital deliveries.
Taking note of the rising temperatures, the Chief Minister directed the medical staff to ensure adequate stock of essential medicines and medical supplies. He firmly stated that there should be no negligence in healthcare services and that timely and quality treatment for the public is the topmost priority of the state government.
Interacting with villagers, Shri Sai reaffirmed the government’s commitment to expanding healthcare services and strengthening facilities in all health centers across the state.
It is worth mentioning that under the ongoing Sushasan Tihar campaign, Chief Minister Shri Sai is personally inspecting key institutions related to education, health, and public welfare to ensure that government schemes reach the last person and that any grassroots-level shortcomings are addressed without delay.
MLA Shri Ishwar Sahu, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, and Chief Minister’s Secretary Shri P Dayanand were also present.
