Rs 5 Lakh Ex-Gratia for Families of the Deceased and Rs 50,000 for the Injured
Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed profound grief over the tragic road accident that occurred in Khairora region, extending his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased. The devastating incident claimed the lives of 13 individuals and left 14 others seriously injured.
Describing the accident as deeply distressing, Chief Minister Shri Sai said, “The news of the horrific road mishap in Khairora is extremely painful. I pray for the eternal peace of the departed souls and the speedy recovery of those injured.” He further assured that the State Government stands in complete solidarity with the bereaved families during this hour of crisis.
Chief Minister Shri Sai has issued necessary directives to officials to ensure proper medical treatment for the injured. He also announced that the State Government will provide an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 each to those injured in the accident. Additionally, Chief Minister has instructed the district administration to maintain continuous monitoring of relief and rescue operations to ensure swift and effective assistance.
