Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai extended his best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of the holy month of Shravan, also called ‘Sawan’, dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva. It will begin on July 22. He prayed to Lord Shiva for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the state’s people. Shri Sai stated that with the start of the month of Sawan, devotees perform special puja rituals and ceremonies dedicated to Lord Shiva. Devotees observe fasts on Monday called ‘Sawan Somwar’ with great devotion.
During this time, there is a significant increase in the number of devotees visiting Lord Shiva temples, and many undertake Kanwar Yatra. He stated, “May the blessings of Lord Shiva always remain upon everyone.”
