Raipur, (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid homage to the eminent poet, writer, and journalist, Padma Bhushan Pandit Makhanlal Chaturvedi, on his birth anniversary (April 4). Remembering Pandit Chaturvedi, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that his writings beautifully capture a unique blend of love for nature, sacrifice, devotion, and patriotism.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that through his powerful literary works, Pandit Makhanlal Chaturvedi evoked a deep sense of nationalism among the masses and inspired them to contribute to the freedom struggle. He highlighted Shri Chaturvedi’s iconic poem “Pushp Ki Abhilasha”, written during his imprisonment at Central Jail, Bilaspur. He added that his literary work continues to ignite patriotic fervor in the hearts of people.
Chief Minister added that his outstanding compositions, infused with nationalistic spirit and profound emotions, will continue to inspire generations to uphold the values of patriotism.
