CM Vishnu Deo Sai unveils statues of ardent caretakers of Raigarh’s renowned temple Banjari Dham

Raipur,(thestates.news), On his second day of his visit to Raigarh, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid obeisance at Shri Banjari Mai at Taraimal Dham and wished for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people of the state on Sunday. Chief Minister Shri Sai unveiled the statues of deceased priest Pujari Shri Ramgopal Maharaj Ji, Ankur Malakar Ji, priestess Sonagiri Mata Ji installed in the premises itself. These dedicated devotees devoted their entire life in taking care of the temple and maintaining religious rituals. Hence, in their memory their statues were installed in premises.He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of new construction works in Shri Banjari Mai Dham Taraimal with the help of various organizations, which includes works worth Rs 2.51 crore for a total eight development works. On this occasion, Shri Sai announced to create Tamnar as a Nagar Panchayat. On this occasion, the district in-charge and Agriculture Minister Shri Ram Vichar Netam, Finance Minister Shri OP Chaudhary, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Devendra Pratap Singh, Lok Sabha MP Shri Radheshyam Rathia were present.Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai expressed his gratitude and said, “Since I was elected as an MP, I have been getting the benefit of ‘Darshan’ –worship of Maa Banjari. It is only due to the blessings of Maa Banjari that I have reached the post of Chief Minister of the state,” said Shri Sai.This Dham has developed due to dedicated efforts of Ankur Gautia, who used to reach Jashpur’s village Bagiya from Raigarh on his motorbike, added CM. Chhattisgarh state was formed under the leadership of former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Chhattisgarh government is striving to improve the social and economic fabric of the state. Through Mahtari Vandan, Ram Lala Darshan Yojana, every month more than 8000 people are being taken to pay obeisance at Ayodhya and Kashi. Two days ago, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was approved for more than 8 lakh underprivileged people. State government is continuously working to take development works forward, emphasized Shri Sai.Highlighting the connection of chief minister and finance minister of the state as sons-of-soil, Agriculture and In-charge Minister Shri Ram Vichar Netam said, “Both the sons have become the Chief Minister and Finance Minister of the state due to the blessings of Maa Banjari. Both of the ministers hold the key to development. Due to which they are taking the state including Raigarh to a new avenue of development.” The work done by all of you together for the development of Maa Banjari Dham is commendable. The government does its work, but with the aim of providing more facilities to the local people and the poor, private institutions also provide their cooperation as community participation, which is commendable, added Shri Netam.Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary said, “It is a matter of good fortune that I got an opportunity to participate in the program of unveiling the statues of the great personalities who have dedicated their lives to Banjari Dham.” Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has been associated with this place for a long time. This is an epicenter of faith among the people of Raigarh and the surrounding areas. The construction of the Raigarh-Gharghoda road is progressing swiftly, with most of the work already finished.The work that is left will be completed immediately after the rains. The road being constructed from Tamnar to Punjipathra will also be completed soon. State government is working with full commitment for the development of this area, said Finance Minister Shri Choudhary.While addressing the program, MP Raigarh Shri Radheshyam Rathia expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai for turning up to participate in the unveiling of the statues of the prominent personalities of this region, the center of faith. He said that the work of roads is also being done rapidly here. Action plans are being made and implemented for infrastructural development works.*Chief Minister made major announcements, Tamnar will get the status of Nagar Panchayat*During this time, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai announced to make Tamnar as a Nagar Panchayat. Along with this he made numerous announcements including allocation of Rs 50 lakh for construction of community building in Chharratangar, construction of 5 staff quarters in Punjipathra police station and announced to start MA classes in Gharghoda College.Chief Minister directed to prepare an estimate for the construction of a culvert in Kukkut river between Chharratangar and Pakadarha and send it to the district Collector as soon as possible.
