Raipur (thestates.news) |Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on Durgashtami and Mahanavami. On this auspicious festival of Navratri, he has prayed to Maa Durga for happiness, prosperity and well-being in the lives of all the people of the state.
Chief Minister Shri Sai has said in his message that Navratri is a festival of Shakti worship, which is celebrated with faith, reverence and devotion throughout the country. Ashtami and Mahanavami have special significance in the worship of the nine forms of the Goddess. On these occasions, Kanya Pujan and Bhandara are organized in homes and temples, where daughters are welcomed as a form of Goddess.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that all daughters are Goddess Swaroopa, hence we should maintain a sense of respect, security and equality towards daughters and women not only on the nine days of Navratri, but every day. This is the true spirit of Goddess worship, and the soul of our culture also lies in this.
