CM Yogi to flag off country’s first Tejas Express train

(TheStates.news) Preparations for the operation of the country’s first private Tejas Express train have been completed. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will flag off the first private Tejas train running from Lucknow to Delhi on October 4 from Lucknow Junction station of Northeast Railway. Pankaj Singh, the Chief Public Relations Officer of Northeast Railway Gorakhpur, said on Tuesday that Tejas will travel from Lucknow to Delhi in 6 hours and 15 minutes. Tejas will leave Lucknow at 6:10 am in the morning and reach Delhi at 12:25 pm. The train will have only two stoppages-one in Kanpur and another in Ghaziabad. He informed that Tejas is the first train of Indian Railways to be run by IRCTC.
