Raipur (thestates.news)| On the occasion of World Child Safety Day on June 1, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade has appealed to all citizens to be more vigilant and sensitive for the safety, respect and overall development of children.
Smt. Rajwade said that children are the foundation and future of our society. When they grow up in a safe, healthy and affectionate environment, only then is it possible to build a prosperous nation. But in today’s era, incidents of violence, neglect and exploitation against children force all of us to introspect.
Minister Smt. Rajwade also said that the protection of child rights is not only a government responsibility, but a moral responsibility of every person in the society. Understanding the mental, emotional and social needs of children, we have to create such an environment for them, in which they can fearlessly realize their dreams.
She said that every child’s smile is linked to his safety. If we are not alert today, tomorrow will ask us for answers. Let us pledge on this day that we will become the voice of every child and together we will build a strong social structure for child protection.
